Machine Shop II

Machine Shop 2 provides hands-on instruction in the setup and operation of lathes and vertical milling machines. Building on skills from Machine Shop 1, students perform common machining processes including drilling, tapping, reaming, boring, and basic turning, with emphasis on proper machine setup, tool selection, measurement, surface finish, and safe shop practices.
